Please follow the instructions below.
If you wish to appeal a parking citation you have three choices;
1.
You may download the Parking Ticket Appeal Form here, print it and mail it to the department. Mail all
appeals to Department of Public Safety, Attn: Parking Appeals, 14 TAC Lane Waterville Valley, NH
03215. You may also Fax Appeals to: (603)-236-2056.
or
2.
You may complete the On-Line Parking Ticket Appeal Form and submit your appeal electronically (See
Below).
or
3.
You may fill out an appeal form in person at the town office between the hours of 8am-4pm, M-F,
excluding holidays.
Please complete the appeal to the Waterville Valley Department of Public Safety, Police Department either
electronically or by the address or fax number below within TEN DAYS of the issuance of the ticket.
Do not include payment at this time. Your appeal will be processed in a timely manner (usually within ten
days), after which you will receive a letter or email regarding the decision.
Only those appeals filed correctly, and written within the time allowed will be reviewed. Postal delays or
electronic equipment failures will not be considered a valid excuse.

If your Parking Ticket Appeal is DENIED, you will be required to pay your fine within thirty (30)
days of the denial.

If your Parking Ticket Appeal is REDUCED, you will be required to pay that reduced amount. If
payments are not made within thirty (30) days of the date of disposition it may result in higher
fines, court action and/or an application for warrant for arrest.

If your Parking Ticket Appeal is SUSPENDED, you will not be required to pay a fine, with
conditions. As long as the conditions are met for the suspension. (i.e. Suspended for six (6) months
with no further parking infractions means; If you do not have another parking violation in that six
(6) months you will not have to pay the fine. However, if you do receive a parking citation within
the time of suspension, you will be required to pay that fine plus the previous fine.)

If your Parking Ticket Appeal is GRANTED, no payment is required and the matter is deemed
closed.
